Important: Domain names are digital assets that, once transferred, cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Please review all domain details carefully before purchase.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Eligible for Refund

Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Failed Transfer: If we cannot complete the domain transfer within 14 days due to our error
  • Misrepresentation: If the domain was significantly misrepresented in the listing
  • Technical Issues: If our platform error resulted in duplicate charges
  • Legal Issues: If the domain cannot be legally transferred due to disputes unknown at time of sale
  • Pre-Transfer Cancellation: Orders cancelled before domain transfer initiation

2.2 Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be granted for:

  • Change of mind after successful transfer
  • Buyer's remorse or impulse purchases
  • Failure to renew the domain after transfer
  • Trademark issues discovered after purchase (buyer's responsibility to research)
  • Traffic or revenue not meeting expectations
  • SEO penalties or ranking changes
  • Domains purchased at auction (final sale)
  • Custom or premium services already rendered

4. Refund Process

Step 1: Submit Request

Contact our support team at refunds@names.center with your order number and reason for refund request.

Step 2: Review

Our team will review your request within 48 hours and may request additional information.

Step 3: Decision

You'll receive a decision within 5 business days with explanation.

Step 4: Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to original payment method.

5. Payment Method Considerations

5.1 Credit/Debit Cards

Refunds to credit or debit cards typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing time.

5.2 PayPal

PayPal refunds are usually instant but may take up to 24 hours to appear in your account.

5.3 Wire Transfers

Wire transfer refunds may take 10-15 business days and may incur banking fees which are the customer's responsibility.

5.4 Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency transactions are generally non-refundable due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may offer partial refunds:

  • Administrative fees (10% of purchase price) may be retained
  • Third-party fees (escrow, transfer fees) are non-refundable
  • Time-based depreciation for delayed refund requests
  • Promotional discounts are reversed upon refund

8. Special Circumstances

8.1 Escrow Transactions

Domains purchased through Escrow.com are subject to Escrow.com's refund policies in addition to ours. The escrow inspection period supersedes our standard refund window.

8.2 Bulk Purchases

Bulk domain purchases (5+ domains) have custom refund terms agreed upon at time of sale. Individual domains from bulk purchases cannot be refunded separately.

8.3 Premium Services

Logo design, branding packages, and other premium services are non-refundable once work has commenced.

9. Chargebacks

Warning: Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue through our refund process may result in permanent account suspension and legal action.
