Every number on a listing comes from a specific source. This page explains what those sources are and what they do not capture.
Most listed sites earn ad revenue through the Adsterra publisher network. The revenue figures shown on each listing are taken directly from the Adsterra dashboard, which reports in USD. The period covered is stated on the listing (for example, "monthly ad revenue" shows each calendar month).
Revenue comes from impressions served to visitors. It fluctuates with traffic volume, visitor geography (US and UK impressions pay more than most other countries), ad format, and seasonal advertiser demand. A site that earned $4 one month may earn $1 the next.
Three of the currently listed sites use Google AdSense instead of Adsterra. For these sites, we show only gross AdSense totals for a stated date range. Google allows publishers to share gross earnings, so that is what we publish; we do not post other AdSense metrics. Buyers can verify the figures through a live screen-share of the AdSense dashboard.
Adsterra figures are in US dollars (USD). Adsterra reports natively in USD. AdSense totals are shown in the currency of the AdSense account, which is labeled on each AdSense listing.
The "search visits" metric on each listing comes from server access logs (nginx). We count requests that arrived with a search-engine referrer (Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and others) and a response status of 200.
This is a lower bound, not a precise total. The reasons:
Where a site is connected to Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, we can share that data with a buyer as well. Search Console click counts are typically higher than our server-log counts because Search Console records every click, including those served from CDN cache.
If the current month is not yet complete, charts show the partial figure with a label. We do not annualize or extrapolate partial-month data.
Before you commit to a purchase, you can request:
We encourage every buyer to verify before completing the escrow payment. If the figures cannot be verified to your satisfaction, do not proceed.
Historical revenue and traffic figures do not predict future performance. After a sale, revenue depends on the new owner's ad network, ad placement, content updates, search-engine algorithm changes and many other factors outside our control.
